These players
have been evaluated over the course of the season in Super
Y-League competition by the scouting staff of the Great Lakes
division in each age group. The Great Lakes Divisional ODP
Team will attend the ODP Select Camp held on their corresponding
age group date in January or February of 2006. Once at the
ODP Select Camp, players will be evaluated over intense competition
and training by the ODP Staff and US Soccer National Coaching
Staff. At the completion of the event a final selection for
the ODP Select Team will be made recognizing the top players
in the Super Y-League. Once this selection has been made,
certain ODP Select Teams may be invited to participate in
events to compete against US National Teams, or participate
in foriegn tours.
What are the Benefits of Participating
in the Super Y-League ODP system?
- Selection of players within the natural
environment on their club teams within league play, as opposed
to an open try-out system. Many players do not participate
in the open-tryout ODP system operated by state associations.
Some players do not react or perform well in an open tryout
process.
- Exposure to U.S. National Staff and
Team Coaches.
- Exposure to professional and collegiate
scouts.
- No cost to be scouted. The scouting
system is built into league play and contains no ODP fees,
other than those selected to the ODP Select Camps in January
and February.

must be made no earlier than 4:00 PM EST on Sunday. All players
should have flights arranged prior to completing the online

Transportation on SIDE B. After getting off the plane, collect
your baggage and go down the escalators or elevator to the

will meet each player in the terminal and guide them to the
bus transportation to the Coco Expo.
• All buses will depart on the Sunday of the event at
