and parents attending the ODP National Camps in Cocoa, FL. We
appreciate your cooperation to achieve productive and successful

Airport Shuttle (Have players
bring these directions with them)
* The airport shuttle will pick up all players at Ground Transportation
on SIDE B. After getting off the plane, collect your baggage
and go down the escalators or elevator to the ground transportation
on SIDE B.
* If you land on SIDE A of the airport, get your bags and
follow the signs leading you towards SIDE B.
* Once at SIDE B (color coded in green), take an elevator
or escalator down to level 1 (ground transportation).
* After you reach ground transportation level 1 SIDE B, go
to the shuttle area numbers 13, 14, 15.
* A SYL representative will be sitting in the area mentioned
above inside the automatic doors where the rental car counters
(Alamo, Enterprise, National, Avis, etc.) are located.
* There will be a SYL representative there to meet you wearing
a white SYL polo and khaki pants.
* The SYL representative’s name will be e-mailed to
you the Monday before the event.
Players - Dorm and Fields
* There will be 4 players to a room. All room assignments
have already been made and will be given out at check-in.
* Players will need to bring $10 for a room key deposit. They
will get their money back when they return the key on Sunday.
* The players will not be able to leave the Cocoa Expo Center
site during the weekend.
* Players will receive at the event: A game schedule, a jersey,
pair of black shorts, and a pair of white socks. Goalkeepers
will receive a different colored jersey than the rest of their
team.
* There is a coin operated laundry facility at the dorms (soap
will be provided).
* Players are recommended to bring an extra pair of black
shorts and white socks to wear during the weekend at their
own discretion.
* Players must also bring their own shin guards and soccer
shoes.
* All linens are provided by the Cocoa Expo Center, although
it is suggested to bring your own pillow.
* Water will be provided for all games and training as well
as an athletic trainer.
Parents - Dorm & Field Rules
* Parents will not be allowed inside the Cocoa Expo Center
dormitory or cafeteria for this event. We want all of your
children to be safe and to interact with the other players
attending the camp. Therefore are only allowing chaperones,
coaches, players, and SYL staff inside of the building.
* Players will not be able to leave the premises for any reason.
* Parents will be allowed to observe games throughout the
weekend within certain timeframes which are listed below.
Parents are asked to remain observant and professional throughout
the match. Please refrain from coaching and any excessive
cheering. These players are being observed on a national level
and we need everyone to keep a good training environment.
* We will not have anyone videotaping, however you are allowed
to take photos and videotape games.

Game Observation Schedule
Parents will be allowed to
observe during the following times:
Friday: 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Sunday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Reminder:
No parents will be allowed to enter the Cocoa Expo Center
dormitory or cafeteria at any time.
General Weekend
Schedule
The schedule for all weekends is listed below. (A more detailed
schedule will be distributed at the event weekend)
* Friday morning the players will have a meeting with the
rest of the players from their age group followed by a team
training session.
* Starting late Friday morning and throughout the rest of
the weekend, the players will be in training matches which
will be 11 v. 11 and will be forty minutes in length. Each
team will be playing between 8-10 games on a weekend.
* Goalkeepers will also have their own goalkeeper session
during the course of the weekend.
